Friends of the George Reeves Memorial make donation to Wilson Brewer Park Foundation project

Veronica Guyader, Historian and Friends of the George Reeves Memorial, recently made a donation of $5,110 to the Wilson Brewer Park Foundation for their organization’s current park renovation and preservation project. Darcy Swon, Development Director of the Enhance Hamilton County (EHCF), received the check on behalf of the Wilson Brewer Park Foundation.

From October 19 – December 20, 2017, Friends of the George Reeves Memorial hosted a fundraising event to help restore the Brewer-Groves Cabin at Wilson Brewer Park. A special event to promote awareness of the needs of this 1850’s founder’s cabin was held on October 25, 2017, via the Facebook Group: Woolstock’s George Reeves of Stage and Screen.

The EHCF is assisting the Wilson Brewer Park Foundation with managing the charitable donations for their park project.

The EHCF currently manages over $3 million in funds benefiting a wide variety of charitable causes throughout Hamilton County.
