EHCF challenge brings in $3,845 for local food pantries

ehcf_stock-up-for-fallThe Enhance Hamilton County Foundation’s Food Panty Community Challenge was completed the end of October with total funds being raised to benefit area food pantries in the amount of $3,845.

“We appreciate the support by charitable donors to benefit the food pantries and the families they serve throughout Hamilton County,” said Darcy Swon, Enhance Hamilton County Foundation Development Director.

The donations have been sent directly to the food pantries and are broken down as follows: Trinity Lutheran Church (Webster City) $2,125.69; Stratford Food Pantry (Stratford) $1,042.01; Upper Des Moines Opportunity (Webster City) $364.70; St Paul Lutheran Church (Webster City) $166.72; and The Lord’s Cupboard Bethesda Lutheran Church (Jewell) $145.88. Donations to the food pantries were determined by the charitable donor’s request with a percentage match made by the Foundation.
